Delete your Imara account
You can delete your Imara account, made by Terrigence Labs, at any time. You don't need to keep the app installed.
Delete in the app
- Open Imara and go to Profile › Account & privacy.
- Choose Delete my data.
- Confirm with the code we send you, or by signing in with Apple again.
Delete without the app
Email us from the address on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with. We'll confirm it's you before deleting anything.
Request deletion by emailWhat happens next
- Straight away: your account is disabled, you're signed out everywhere and your push notification tokens are removed.
- After 14 days: your profile, training, coaching, chat, photos and other personal data are erased. You can cancel during this time by contacting us.
- On your iPhone: data kept only on your device is removed when you use Delete my data. You can also choose to remove what Imara saved in Apple Health.
What we keep
- Payment records: kept for 5 years for tax law, without the link to you.
- Security and access logs: kept for 2 years.
- Encrypted backups: deleted data can remain in a backup for up to 35 days, or 12 months for monthly backups, until it's overwritten. We don't restore deleted accounts from backups.
Before you delete
You may want to use Export my data first. App Store purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple, so cancel any subscription in your Apple account settings. Read our privacy policy for details.
