Coach agreement
These terms apply if you use Imara as a coach. They're between you and Terrigence Labs TODO: registered legal name, company number and registered address, and they add to the terms of use.
Verification
Coaches show as verified once we've checked who you are and your qualifications. Keep your profile accurate. We may ask for ID and certificates, and we may remove the badge if details change.
You're independent
You're an independent coach, not our employee or agent. You're responsible for your own services, insurance, licences and tax. Your coaching agreement with each client is between you and that client, under the client terms you publish in Imara.
Honest listings
Describe your coaching, content, products and prices accurately. Don't list anything you can't deliver, and don't promise specific results.
Fees and payouts
- Imara collects client payments and pays you after deducting our commission. TODO: commission rate
- Payouts are made after a holding period, to your M-Pesa number. TODO: hold period and payout schedule
- Refunds and chargebacks reduce what you're owed. Large payouts and refunds are approved by two staff members.
- You're responsible for declaring your income and paying your tax.
Shop and digital content
The Imara shop is for physical goods such as clothing and equipment. Training videos and photo sets are sold to clients through Apple in-app purchase.
Client data
You see only what your clients choose to share. Use it only to coach them, keep it confidential and don't copy it out of Imara. Personal data is handled under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. Clients can stop sharing with you at any time, and you must respect that.
Conduct
Be respectful and professional with clients and other members. Don't give medical advice you aren't qualified to give. Refer clients to a doctor when something is beyond your training. Follow the community guidelines.
Ending this agreement
You can stop coaching on Imara at any time, after meeting your commitments to current clients. We can suspend coach mode if these terms are broken. Money you've earned will still be paid, less any refunds due. TODO (legal review): termination and liability wording
